Through Tthe grace of God and Panaghia, our community hosted a beautiful and successful Winter Gala celebrating the 45th Anniversary of our beloved parish! Congratulations to the honorees of the evening: Mr. and Mrs. Chris and Anna Triantafillou (Hellenism Award), Mr. John Paravalos (Philanthropy Award), and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Photini Angelides (Parish Commitment Award)! Thank you to the Chancellor of our Archdiocesan District, Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Elias Villis for representing His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros and gracing us with his kind words and presence. Thank you to the Mayor of Island Park, Michael McGinty, former congressman and Inspector General of the United States Department of Labor, Anthony D’Esposito, Legislator Patrick Mullaney, representatives of Nassau Executive, Bruce Blakeman and Hempstead Town Supervisor, John Feretti, for joining us and presenting citations to the honorees, our Fr. George, and our Parish.
